Places To Eat

There are lots of places in the area that offer delicous food!

White Stag Inn (Formerly Strathyre Inn)

This newly refurbished pub is a welcoming comfortable place, serving a great variety of good ol’ traditional pub food, with the standard Scottish twist. And of course a vast variety of local ales. The first Sunday of every month there is a folk music jamming starting at 2pm and usually doesn’t finish until close!

Mhor 84

Located at the turn off to Balquidder, this fairly large establishment has a good menu to choose from, as well as the ales! They usually have live folk music on a Thursday evening.

The Broch Café

This lovely little place is situated at the start of Strathyre coming from Callander. Homemade soups, sandwiches on homemade bread, and many a Rossini special! Without forgetting the homemade cakes, and they even catch their own haggis ;)

The Lade Inn

This lovely homely pub offers great food, drink and entertainment! It is right next door to a Real Ale Store too. A place worth a visit for sure!

The Deli Ecosse

A favourite of my boys, the welcoming staff are always happy to help and serve their scrummy food to you! The café, as the name hints, also sells a variety of organic goods and has its own refrigerated counter full of meats and cheeses.

Golden Larches

This quaint little café doesn’t look like much when passing it on the A84, but once you step inside you will be nicely surprised. Serving a great menu, you’ll definitely enjoy visiting here – especially sitting in the beautiful conservatory area.

The Riverside Inn

Our local favourite pub to eat (and drink), try the Big Jock burger. Friendly staff with an enjoyable atmosphere.
